One evening at a park

0
When you get inside a park looking around for a place to sit, you see lots of children playing while their parents have a chat with each other. Then you step inside the grass and find a place at the farthest corner avoiding the crowd. You sit there, open your laptop, and wait for a friend.
You see a few couple sitting scattered all around the park enjoying each others company. Then two couple comes in. Newly committed, little shy and confused, whispers into each others ear whether to sit or leave. Then suddenly a tennis ball falls beside you, you look up and find a little boy running towards it, you pick it up and throw towards him. He catches it and runs back.
Half an hour had been passed and I have no vision of my friend so far. Hopeless some people are. You come for them from so far, and they give no damn to it.
*sigh* This evening could have been better.
